"Castle Of Chillon", Switzerland, oil on canvas and signed on lower left by Frank Morgan Chase (British artist 1855-1925). Frank Morgan Chase was born in Madras, India on 23rd Nov.1855, the son of a civil servant. He was a landscape and coastal painter who exhibited in 1880-1898, 7 paintings at the Royal Academy, 6 at the Royal Institute of Painters in watercolour and elsewhere in the provinces. He is listed in the Dictionary of British Artists ( Collectors Club). This painting comes with "Chillon Castle And Its Prisoner" booklet. Size 105 x 82 cm with the frame.
