A nice condition New India Pattern 1809 pattern Brown Bess musket (Lock type 2) marked Tower with a GR cypher. Various proof and broad arrow markings near the breech. Barrel has been shortened by 3 inches and measures 36 inch, probably from campaign use and repairs.
