Description

Meissen, an 18th century hard paste porcelain pear form coffee pot and cover, with rococo wishbone handle, the body polychrome painted with scattered; "Deutsche Blumen ", bouquet of spring alpine flowerheads and floral finial to cover, on snow white lustre ground , bearing blue underglaze straight crossed swords factory marks for 1740-1763 before academic period. Height 22 cm.
Condition; good overall in accordance with age and use and two chips to cover and 19th c restoration.
