Description

An English Flintlock pocket pistol by Archer, with a 68 bore and a 3-inch brass turn-off barrel. The lock is signed by Archer, London. This pistol features a walnut grip with a blank oval escutcheon and measures an overall length of 20 cm. It is in good condition, holding at full, but not half, cock.

Thomas Archer, a gunmaker based in Birmingham from 1776 to 1807, marked his guns in London.
