Description

This 64th Indian Pioneers VRI 1892 pattern infantry sword is a beautiful piece of history and comes with its original dress and field leather scabbard, sword bag and sword. According to Wilkinson swords records, the sword was purchased by a S. B. Watson Esq. Unattached on the 6th of October 1894 who later transferred to the 64th Pioneers, 107th Pioneers and finally the 155th Indian Pioneers.

The sword survives in very good condition with very little rust or pitting. The sword knot has seen a minor repair and the stitching on the sword bag has come a bit loose but overall is an excellent example for its age.
