Description

A set of reproduction Indo-Persian armour, comprising a Kulah Khud helmet, featuring a domed skull with artificially aged finish, with a central tall spike, two plume holders to the front of the bowl, with brass rosette bosses, a central sliding nasal bar bracket, patinated iron chainmail neck defence; with a pair of Bazu Band (Vambrace) arm guards, a circular Dhal shield, and two pairs of domed rectangular armour for body protection, all decorated en suite and the circular shield with additional decoration of Khanjar (push daggers), the armour platings measuring 28 x 23.5cm and 39.5 x 31cm (8).
Previous purchased from a Soukh in Manama (Bahrain).
