A rare 1902 Kings Ale bottle with contents, unopened. No label.

Contrary to popular opinion, the 1902 Kings Ale was first brewed in February 1902 following Edward VII's visit to Bass, Burton on Trent Brewery. Edward VII's visit started the mash, and the beer was then on stored in a cask to mature. The equivalent of 400 casks of 36 gallons were brewed. Several limited quanties were released for special occasions such as the Kings Coronation in 1911, 1929 and the Prince of Wales's mash of the Prince's Ale, etc. This example is a 1905 or 1911 issue due to its lead seal.

Condition:
Good condition commensurate with age.
