Apparently this was one of his pieces he presented during his apprenticeship with his father Michael Cardew. It bears both his personal mark and the Wensford Bridge mark on the Teapot. It appears that the handle of the teapot has been broken and repaired but none the less, it is a rare opportunity to own something made by such a talented craftsman. The handle of the tea-pot appears to have a crack but it is. nonetheless, an interesting set by a famous and distinguished potter.
